This is going to be awesome- I love playing village-aligned mafia type groups.
And I have vote manipulation powers!

So we're a good guy group, and someone seering one of us is getting a 5-for-1 deal... PLUS we have a guardian. Do we want to get someone to reveal, guard them, and have any village seer(s) brought into our group?

Of all of us, I think the most important person is, ironically, the one with no power of her own... the chick. So long as she's alive we each get to use our powers twice as often, so I was gonna say we should guard SpeedySwaf anyway. When you actually get around to making an account, SS... Maybe let us know if you're willing to be our guarded network head? Before we do so, I'd like to see if we can figure out and/or get a clarification on the guard text: "You can choose to protect any other player. You will not react until any powers targeted at that player resolve, but you will disable whatever power was used for one night". I don't understand exactly what this means- it sounds like rules for Magic the Gathering, honestly.

It kinda sounds like the action goes through, but the 'guard' disables the power for the next night, doesn't it?

It kinda sounds like the action goes through, but the 'guard' disables the power for the next night, doesn't it? Yes, this confuses me because it's called a guard...but actually isn't? Frosteey is on the forum, so I'll create a clarification thread now and ask. Edit: Also, it looks like the guard might stop seerings. Hmm.

It's called a guard because your brutish thug will attempt to defend them, but he has the reflexes and dexterity of a cantaloupe, so he won't succeed. But he'll smack the guy after the fact.

Gah. So it's delayed-action guard, basically. So basically I am the 'traditional' guard, but I have to target the assailant?

Noooooooo....
It's delayed action in the sense that it will automatically affect the person who attacks your target, who is unable to use their power the following night.
